K G Subramanyan was one of the leading artists of post-Independence India. In his career spanning nearly seven decades, KGS seamlessly assumed the role of a painter, muralist, printmaker, relief-sculptor and designer.
We present in this series, some of his lesser known works done on ‘Saras’ or Painter Platters during the annual Arts Fair at Kala Bhavana, Santiniketan.
